So, word on the street is…Tony Roma’s has the Summer drinks for any night out on the town. Recently, I made my way to International Drive—a tourist hot-spot located in the heart of Orlando, FL—to try a few delicious drinks at the famous food chain Tony Roma’s. With a scorching hot Summer soon approaching the Florida coast, Tony Roma’s decided to give their guests some great June specials to quench their thirst.

A newly revamped menu was launched on the 4^th of this month, and my taste buds were able to try it for the very first time. Some of the newest cocktails to hit the menu include the SWEET SUNRISE ROMATIKI, which contains New Amsterdam® vodka & lemon juice, passion fruit, almond syrup and Velvet Falernum® served in tropical Tiki glass, the PINEAPPLE PARADISE ROMATIKI, which has Appleton Estate® Signature Blend Rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, almond syrup, Velvet Falernum, Ginger Ale and is also served in a tropical Tiki glass and a TROPICAL ECLIPSE ROMATINI®, which has RumHaven® coconut rum, Passoã® passion fruit liqueur, pineapple juice.

And of course, in steakhouse fashion, the restaurant served me a delicious medium-rare wood grilled sirloin steak with a baked potato and asparagus on the side.

After devouring my main course, I went on to stuff my belly a bit further and indulged in some delicious dessert entrees. First up was the SEASONAL COBBLER & VANILLA ICE CREAM, which contained a warm seasonal fruit topped with a crispy brown sugar and butter crumble served with vanilla ice cream,

and then the CRISPY BROWNIE BITE SUNDAE—which had multiple bites of crispy brownies layered with vanilla, chocolate chip and rocky road ice cream and topped with caramel, chocolate syrup, strawberries and whipped cream.

With all the delicious new items on the Tony Roma’s menu, you have practically no excuse not to swing by and wind-down this Summer season. – David Plowden, David’s Manor.
