Solutions Bridal Fashion Show 2016
I had the immense pleasure of sitting down with Daphne Dumaz, Assistant Stylist and Special Events Coordinator for Solutions Bridal Designer House, located in Millennia Florida, to discuss their spectacular Solutions Bridal Fashion Show this year. The SB Fashion Show is held every year by the bridal house and is stationed at a different location each year. This particular year, it was held at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando in Grande Lakes—absolutely gorgeous! The venue was simply to die for—I meant that literally. Daphne described this year’s venue as being, “On-par with the Solutions Bridal’s brand,” and I couldn’t agree more. From creme-colored-sofas to magnificent arrays of colorful bouquets, everything was perfectly aligned with the Solutions Bridal’s luxurious attitude. It was all laughs and chuckles as Daphne and I sat down to discuss this year’s stylish event.
“What I liked most about this year, was that you guys incorporated Men’s fashion into your Show,” – David Plowden.
Solutions Bridal, as many may known, is well known for their wedding dresses. However, this year the Bridal House decided to mix it up a bit, as they incorporated Men’s Fashion into their Fashion Show. Armani, located in the Millennia Mall and neighbors to the Bridal House, decided to participate with Solutions Bridal this year—and the collaboration couldn’t have been any better. It pinged my interest the most—since I am a guy, and have a thing for Men’s Fashion—so much that I wanted to know the idea behind including Men’s Fashion into the show this year.
Daphne described the process of picking the male models and styling them as fun and entertaining, and that the models were very enthusiastic—luckily none of them acted like Bridezillas. This year’s show incorporated many vendors as well. Lisa Stoner, from Lisa Stoner’s Events, was the master-mind behind the event’s design, especially the magical surprise of revealing multiple wedding dresses behind glamorous drapes before the show started.
“You guys really enticed the crowd!” – David Plowden.
It was tasteful, theatrical, and answered me and my fellow Blogger, Orlando Fashion Girl’s, suspicion as to the reasoning behind the draped squares throughout the venue.
Thank you to all of the amazing Vendors involved in putting together such an amazing show this year! Make sure to watch my full interview with Daphne Dumaz above, and don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube Channel for future interviews – David Plowden, David’s Manor.
