Park Avenue Fashion Week 15 Fashion Show
Bravo! Bravo! Is all I can say! With all that in mind, Park Avenue Fashion Week 15 has successfully finished with a show stopping fashion show. The big white tent presented itself once more on the Ave of Park Avenue, and all of the Winter Park and Orlando’s fashion clan members got together once again to enjoy a night of mixed drinks, h’orderves, and plenty . . . plenty of fashion. This year’s show, just like the many others that came before it, was held at the big tent in the park of Park Avenue, in Winter Park Florida. The event was once again administered by Michelle Marks, from ShelMarkspr and her amazing team—is there any event Ms. Marks can’t tackle! This year sponsored so familiar faces, designers, and models, as well as some new ones as well. Accompanied along with the designers, and store owners, was a completely new group of Emerging Designers. And I am so proud to announce that the designer I had the pleasure of meeting with prior to the show was actually the winner! Yay! Go Inna! Inna from Innasdesigns, was the winner of the Park Avenue Fashion Week 15 Emerging Designers competition.
I was more than stoked when I heard Inna’s name, I nearly tipped my champagne over—there was plenty of champagne as well. I truly enjoyed being a Brand Ambassador for this amazing show, and what’s even more amazing was the fact that me and my fellow brand ambassadors were the inaugural brand ambassadors for the show.
This year was the first year Ms. Marks decided to have a group of dedicated brand ambassadors for Park Avenue Fashion Week, and I couldn’t have been more thankful for it as well. Watching the designers, models, and even the emerging designers’ progress as the week went on was amazing.
I informed one of my former brand ambassadors that “This week felt like Homecoming!”, it surely did! As I arrived to the show, I greeted my fellow Brand Ambassadors, and the cameras began to flash. I case you haven’t noticed I believe we took a photo of everyone and everything in sight.
We made our way over to the VIP lounge where I had a few drinks and tried some of the amazing catered foods. The VIP lounge was beautifully crafted by Lilly Rae Living, and the drinks were wonderfully mixed by Luma On Park—I had this cucumber Vodka drink that I couldn’t put down the entire night—delicious! Soon the guests began to slowly arrive, making their entrance one by one, and soon the show began. Looks from Tuni, John Craig & Current, Eileen Fisher , Red Carpet Couture & Gems , The Collection Bridal, Forema Boutique, and a Audrey Hepburn inspired ensemble graced the runway from Glorious Beautiful Hair.
A new designer graced the runway this year, Tad Of Style, whose collection was a very edgy yet fashion forward and glamorous collage. Once the show had completed there was not one but multiple after parties for the guest to attend. Me and my fellow brand ambassadors decided to stop in the show’s after party at Jewels by Peter B . Sushi—and I mean piles of it—was served. Absolutely delicious! As we sipped on champagne and stuck our hands in the sushi tray I began to discuss what an amazing show it was, and what an amazing job Michelle Marks did once again. “The lights, the designs, the atmosphere, words can’t truly explain it. You really had to be there to understand how amazing this show was.” – David Plowden, Mods Manor
