Food Tasting at Tony Roma’s
Renovations are in order, or should I say…served. Tony Roma’s, a very popular chain restaurant, has undergone a rebrand and revamped their menu, and I had the pleasure of tasting their food for the very first time. They’re offering a limited time menu for Fall/Winter through December 23rd. Recently, I ventured over to Tony Roma’s International Drive location—located here in Orlando, Florida—for a much needed food tasting experience to try their newest menu. This was actually my first time at the restaurant, so I was extremely impressed to discover how well-established their menu was. Once I entered the venue, I was immediately greeted by their staff and other fellow Food Bloggers/Influencers. I was instantly seated and trays of food soon engulfed my dinner table—what a perfect way to start the night off. One of my favorite appetizers that was served was a dish filled with shrimp and peppers dipped in what seem to be a buffalo-type sauce, it was absolutely delicious. Their Chimichurri Salmon was the seafood dish for the night, which consisted of grilled salmon, yellow rice with carrots and a side of seared garlic green beans. For the meat eaters, an 8.oz steak, loaded mashed potatoes, a side of seared garlic green beans and of course…the famous Tony Roma’s ribs were for our taking. Tony Roma’s is well-known for their mouth watering ribs that practically fall off of the bone with every bite, so you could only imagine how excited I was to chow down on a rack of barbecue ribs all while wearing my Rib Face bib. After we finished devouring every dish that made it our way, a rather enticing spice-mixing performance was done by one of the restaurant’s managers He single-handily mixed a rather extensive assortment of spices together and so kindly handed each guest a bottle of their own personal spice creation. It was a very kind takeaway gesture. Make sure to check out Tony Roma’s newly revamped menu below…and make sure to bring a bib—you’re going to need it. – David Plowden, David’s Manor.
