AVA MediterrAegean Grand Opening Party
Orlando’s most anticipated restaurant of the year, thus far, has officially snipped its red ribbon during a red-carpet soirée that brought out Orlando socialites from across the land. From chefs, media, influencers and foodies alike, Orlandians celebrated a monumental grand opening on the most popular avenue in Winter Park.
AVA MediterrAegean, a Mediterranean themed restaurant, has brought the essence of Greek cuisine to Winter Park in an opulent hospitable masterpiece. The restaurant sits on the corner of Park Avenue and relishes in a venue that combines Mediterranean décor, Aegean cultures and multi-sensory interior designs. As I made my way to the corner of 290 S Park Ave, I immediately took note of the Hollywood-like red carpet that dawned in front of the restaurant’s entrance. I took a few quick flicks and then quickly made my way inside.
Ava was packed with some of Orlando’s culinary elite. Servers and chefs served each guest at every beck and call, and hors d’oeuvres were casually passed around for us to indulge in.
Even restaurant chef Michael Michaelidis decided to take a quick pit-stop at our table so we could try some of his delicacies.
All in all, AVA seems very promising. And based off the media buzz the restaurant has received within the recent year, I’m pretty sure Orlandians can expect to wine and dine at this restaurant for a very long time. – David Plowden, David’s Manor.
