The city of Orlando sure knows how to wine and dine a guy. And with restaurants like Del Frisco’s—located right near iDrive—I can’t blame them. One of my favorite restaurants in the Big O is bringing back their summer Prime Pair deal for their guests, along with some delicious seasonal cocktails as well.

The best part is, this time around the deal is extending from Sundays only to now everyday of the week all the way through the end of September. This means, I can wine and dine myself practically every day of the week without worrying about missing a mortgage payment. Just recently, I was given the opportunity to try the Summer Prime Pair deal at Del Frisco’s iDrive location…and boy was it delicious. This was actually my second time trying their seasonal Prime Pair special, so you could only imagine how delighted I was to swing by for a second round. For just $59 guests can enjoy a full-course luxurious meal that includes a starter, main entree—paired with Del’s Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes—and a side dish.

As you all know, I’m a carnivore at heart—figuratively speaking—so the 8 oz. Hand-Cut Filet was at the very top of my list. As the waiters politely served my guest and I our entrees, my eyes began to size up my meal like a lion does a gazelle.

The filet was cooked to perfection—medium rare with the right amount of pink in the middle. I even decided to record myself giving it a clean cut in the middle…just for documented proof.

Along with my filet, I decided to pair my meal with the Chateau Mashed Potatoes and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon red wine.

Another facet I love most about Del Frisco’s is the ambience of the restaurant. In my opinion, the ambience of a restaurant matters just as much as the quality of their food. And from the beautiful state-of-the-art light fixtures to the extremely comfortable booths, I absolutely adore the restaurant’s decor.
