Have you ever been served authentic Italian food in under 10 minutes? Well, Spoleto Italian Kitchen, located in Winter Park, can do just that and even more. With great pleasure, I was able to attend a personal food tasting at this delicious place. Spoleto, which is a restaurant that focuses on speedy, but fresh, casual service, offers their guests with an array of food options for their hearts’ desires. Though one can be served a full Italian meal in under 10 minutes, I wouldn’t consider this authentic Italian cuisine to be that of a Fast Food restaurant. No, Spoleto has a unique method of keeping their food hot and ready for their hungry patrons by housing an open kitchen where guests can physically see their food being prepped, made and served, and they can even select their favorite pasta toppings and dishes without having to depend on images from a menu. Something that is extremely unique about Spoleto is their concept called Culinary Freedom, which allows guests to literally pick and choose which Italian cuisine combinations they would like. Whether it’s mushrooms with meatballs and 3 types of combined pastas in a single bowl, Spoleto allows their occupants to select from more than 30 authentic Italian-inspired toppings at freewill. Yum! Since I have such a vivid imagination, I decided to try the Spaghetti Burrata, Ravioli in Brodo, Chicken & Veggie Fettuccine Alfredo. For dessert, I gobbled down on a Strawberry & Nutella Flatbread which made my mouth water. Make sure to check out Spoleto’s Winter Park location today…and try not to go too heavy on the carbs like I did. – David Plowden, David’s Manor.
