Downtown Orlando definitely has its own personality to it. I always thought of it as a tiny part of Manhattan. Since I am originally from New York, I find it to be very therapeutic to stroll through the tiny lanes of the city and watch as the street lamps hit my face. Shel Marks Turns One was an amazing event, as always, and was hosted by Shel Marks herself. It was in celebration of her PR firm that has been handling many of Orlando and Winter Parks very social and fashionable events. Once I arrived I entered into a room filled with music, h’orderves and styles. The event was located at the very popular Aloft Hotel located in downtown Orlando. I met a few local fashion bloggers, as I usually do at many of these events, and we began to mix and mingle. With all the wonderful styles and looks in the room I couldn’t help but snap a few shots with a few of my fellow Fashion bloggers. The two Fashion bloggers on both sides of me are actually Orlandofashiongirl and TheShoeMaven. Shel Marks herself actually stepped on the mic mid-way through the session and thanked everyone that had attended the event, as well as previous events in the past. This was a very touching statement she made and I am pretty sure all of the guest felt the amount of appreciation she was expressing. I do look forward to many more of her events as well.
